On Saturday, September 30, ALS Golden West held the 24th Annual Central Valley Walk to Defeat ALS® at Woodward Park in Fresno to raise ALS awareness and support for those affected by ALS.
The community event began with a special opening ceremony; followed by the Walk; then a delicious lunch, compliments of Clovis Rotary; and fun entertainment provided by Patrick Aguirre.
With the help of passionate fundraisers, engaged supporters and generous donors, the Central Valley Walk to Defeat ALS brought together over 300 dedicated participants, sponsors, and volunteers who together have raised more than $109,000 towards our goal of $115,000! All proceeds provide critical funding for ALS Golden West’s urgent mission priorities related to ALS care services, public policy initiatives, and cutting-edge global research.
