Meet Your New ALS Network Board Member and Advisory Trustees
This year, we welcome four new individuals serving in volunteer leadership roles, including Scean Ellis, a new member of our Board of Directors and multiple Advisory Trustees including Hunter Doohan, Andrew Schneider, and Erin Taylor. They offer their expertise as we urgently seek to cure ALS together. Read in their own words what it means to join the ALS Network’s volunteer leadership.

“Throughout the hardest chapter of our lives, the ALS Network was there for us. Volunteering is how I carry my husband’s legacy forward, with purpose and hope, so no one faces ALS alone.”
– Scean Ellis, ALS Network Board Member
“Being an Advisory Trustee for the ALS Network means so much to me because this disease has affected so many families, including my own. I’m honored to help fight and find a cure in any and every little way I can.” – Hunter Doohan, ALS Network Advisory Trustee

“Being part of the ALS Network has meant a great deal to me and my family. After losing my father to ALS in 2018, I experienced firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the journey can be. ALS Network not only gave me a way to channel that loss into purpose by supporting critical research, but also welcomed me into a community defined by compassion, strength, and unwavering support. It is a true honor to serve as an Advisory Trustee and help advance this mission – ensuring families facing ALS have the support, resources, and hope they deserve.”
– Andrew Schneider, ALS Network Advisory Trustee
“Being an Advisory Trustee for the ALS Network is such an honor. To be trusted to show up for this community, bring my young perspective, and be part of the fight to end this disease means everything to me.” – Erin Taylor, ALS Network Advisory Trustee
