LiveNOW from FOX features 10th Anniversary of the Ice Bucket Challenge

Recently, the ALS Network spoke with Christy Matino at LiveNOW from FOX about the 10th anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and its decade-long impact on thousands affected with ALS worldwide. 

The 2014 Ice Bucket Challenge generated unprecedented global awareness and support​ for our ALS community. It showed how collective efforts fueled scientific research, supported those in need, and brought ALS to the forefront of public consciousness.​ Funds raised contributed to scientific advancements, including the discovery of new ALS genes and improved understanding of the disease.​ 

As shared by Asher Garfinkel, Vice President of Community Outreach, there is still more to do to support people living with ALS today, as well as those diagnosed in the future.
