Honoring the Producers of the Impossible Dream Album

2025 Essey Spotlight Award Honorees (800 X 533 Px)

The ALS Network (formerly ALS Golden West) is proud to announce Kitt Wakeley, David Das, and the Producers of the Grammy Award-nominated album, Impossible Dream, as our 2025 Essey Spotlight Award Honorees.

The list of esteemed honorees includes the following exceptional team of music industry professionals: Grammy Award winner Kitt Wakeley (pictured left above), David Das (pictured right above), along with Jonathan Estabrooks, Sydney Anderson, Patrick Conlon, Christina Giacona, Tre Nagella, David Reitzas, and Brian Vibberts. These incredible individuals will be honored for their extraordinary effort to raise ALS awareness through the creation of The Impossible Dream album.

The star-studded project was conceived by Aaron Lazar, notable singer and actor, who has been living with ALS since 2022. The groundswell of support from the Broadway community celebrates the fighting spirit of our ALS community to dream the impossible in the face of adversity. A portion of the sales proceeds of Impossible Dream benefit the ALS Network’s mission priorities related to ALS care, research, and advocacy.

Our 2024 Essey Spotlight Award Honoree, Aaron Lazar, also a producer on the album, will present this year’s award, with Kitt Wakeley and David Das accepting on behalf of the team. We are deeply grateful to everyone involved in this artistic collaboration for leveraging their time, talent, and resources to raise ALS awareness and funds around the globe, which embodies the spirit of the Essey Spotlight Award.
