The ALS Network is grateful to FOX 26 for their continued support of the ALS community, and their coverage of the 25th annual Central Valley Burnout, Walk & Roll to Cure ALS on Sunday, September 8, at Clovis Rodeo Grounds, in Clovis.

Members of the Central Valley community gathered for a family-friendly day of celebration, exercise, education, awareness, inspiration, music, and fun. This year, an added car show and burnout was held along with food trucks and local vendor booths, including live music from Good Vibes DJ and We Got The Beat percussion band.

“My wife was diagnosed in 2000 and passed away five years ago after 19 years of ALS,” said Steve Spring, who has been a part of this annual event for 25 years. “When she was diagnosed, that’s what she decided. That’s what she wanted to do– push to raise money to see if we could find some kind of cure. Hopefully someday we won’t have to worry about this disease again.”

All funds raised support the mission priorities of the ALS Network in care services, public policy, and research. You can still support the Central Valley Burnout, Walk & Roll by making a gift today! Visit alswalkcentralvalley.org to learn more.
