Virtual Global Clinical Research Learning Institute (CRLI):
This is a brand-new online program for people who want to:
- Learn more about ALS/MND research
- Understand how research studies work
- Talk about research in your own community
- Be part of global advocacy efforts
You can apply if you have a personal connection to ALS/MND, and you want to learn more about research and be an advocate.
The program runs from October 20–29, 2025, and it is completely online. Sessions are also recorded if you can’t attend live.
Patient Fellows Program:
The Patient Fellows Program helps people attend the International Symposium on ALS/MND and related events. You can apply if you are living with ALS/MND, a caregiver, or a gene carrier.
As a Patient Fellow, you receive:
- Registration for the MND Association’s International Symposium on ALS/MND from December 5 to 7 in San Diego, California (in-person or virtual)
- Access to valuable networking with researchers and fellow community members
- Limited support for hotel and travel expenses (for in-person attendees) during the International Symposium
- Optional virtual registration for the International Alliance’s Alliance Meeting and Allied Professionals Forum from November 29 to December 2, and the virtual Poster Hall
