ASK ME: ALS Research and Care

We invite you to join us for our ASK ME educational webinar, “ALS Research and Care” to learn about the outcomes from our 13th Annual California ALS Research Summit. The webinar will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 5:00 PM PST/3:00 PM HST.

The Summit, created and presented by the Golden West Chapter, is an annual gathering of researchers, investigators, clinicians, biotech companies, government representatives, and advocates in ALS and related fields in the state of California.

During this informative program, you will hear from Clive Svendsen, PhD, Director, Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute and Chair, California ALS Research Network, who will share updates from the 2023 California ALS Research Summit and the impact on care and research in 2023.

You will also have a chance to see presentations from the 2023 Barber ALS Research Award winners, as well as hear from Catherine Lomen-Hoerth, MD, PhD, Clinic Director of ALS Treatment and Research Center, Richard K. Olney Endowed Professor of Neurology at UCSF, who will provide an overview about Jim Barber and his foundational role in the Summit and efforts to advance the search for effective treatments and cures.
