2024 Lou Gehrig Day Oakland A's
  • This event has passed.

The focus of the official Lou Gehrig Day is to honor the legacy of Lou Gehrig and all those lost to the disease that bears his name; to raise ALS awareness and funding; and to celebrate the ALS community.

On Lou Gehrig Day, each home Club will host ceremonies and display “4-ALS” logos in ballparks, commemorating Gehrig’s uniform number “4.” Additionally, all players, managers and coaches will wear a special “Lou Gehrig Day” patch on uniforms.

The Oakland Athletics will be observing Lou Gehrig Day on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:40 PM PDT during the game against the Seattle Mariners.

For directions, parking, and more information about Oakland Coliseum, please visit their website.

Depending on the game and capacity of the hosting ballpark, there may be limited complimentary tickets for one ( 1 ) person living with ALS plus one ( 1 ) caregiver, in either a regular or an accessible seating area. For questions, please email us at baseball@alsnetwork.org.
