Daytime Confidential: Y&R’s Kate Linder and ALS Network Team Up For Art Show to Honor Late Mother’s 100th Birthday

The Young and the Restless star Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) and ALS Network have partnered to honor her mother’s life. Linder will host “An Afternoon of Art,” featuring the works of her late mother, California artist Mary Wolveck, for sale along with a reception to commemorate her 100th birthday on Nov. 20. Linder has been a celebrity spokesperson and ambassador for both ALS and ALS Network since 2004, when her brother-in-law, who passed away in 2013, was first diagnosed. Linder, her mother, and Linder’s late husband, Dr. Ron Linder, were determined to find a cure. To honor Wolveck’s quest, her art collection will be on display and available for purchase, with the proceeds going towards ALS Network. 

The event will take place on Nov. 23 from 2-6 PM at 9176 Gallery, which is located at 9176 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA. To donate or purchase any art, visit www.TeamKateLinder.org.
