Women’s History Month (WHM) has been observed in the United States every March since 1987, and is dedicated to raising awareness of women’s contributions to history, culture, and society.
A key date is International Women’s Day (March 8), a globally-observed celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
