Burbank Leader: ALS Gala Set for Jan. 24 at Pasadena Convention Center

ALS Network, which helps those impacted by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease), will host its Champions for Cures and Care gala on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Pasadena Convention Center Ballroom. Members of the ALS community family, leaders and supporters will join together to celebrate progress and advance the fight against ALS.

Actor Eric Dane will receive the Advocate of the Year Award, which is presented to an individual who demonstrates exceptional leadership in advancing the mission of the ALS Network. Dane has provided “extraordinary commitment to raising awareness and support for people living with ALS,” according to a statement.
