10th anniversary of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge continues to raise ALS awareness

IBC 10th Anniversary Recap

The 2014 ALS Ice Bucket Challenge inspired a grassroots outpouring of support for people living with ALS and their loved ones, fueling advances in research, care and advocacy. Today, it still serves as a call-to-action for the world to advocate, participate, and donate in support of the ALS community.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of this global movement, the ALS Network shares our gratitude to our many new and long-standing supporters of our mission, which includes as follows:

  • We honor our continued partnerships with Bay Area’s premiere biopharmaceutical companies, Denali Therapeutics and Cytokinetics, at the 3rd South San Francisco Splash to Cure ALS.
  • We welcome many new collaborators, like the staff from MMD Shops and from the global social media management platform, Hootsuite.
  • We say “mahalo nui loa” to the many participants and volunteers from the Big Island Walk & Roll to Cure ALS.
  • We acknowledge the many supporters who raise ALS awareness and funds in support of our Central Coast Ride & Rally and our upcoming Napa Valley Ride and Walk & Roll events.

As August concludes, please know it’s never too late for you to join the millions of people who have taken the Ice Bucket Challenge. It’s easy!

  • Take a photo or video of yourself pouring a bucket of ice water over your head.
  • Share it on social media, be sure to tag us @youralsnetwork on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn, and challenge others to do the same.
  • Make a donation to the ALS Network!

You can still rise to the challenge and invite your friends and family to join you. We encourage YOU to advocate, participate, and donate today. Help fuel the search for effective prevention strategies, treatments and cures as we celebrate 10 years of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Let’s #cureALStogether!
